Saunas heat up based on their type and heater power. Traditional saunas typically take 30-45 minutes, while infrared saunas heat up in just 10-15 minutes.
A sauna’s maximum temperature varies based on its type and heater power. Traditional saunas can reach up to 190°F, while infrared saunas operate at lower temperatures, usually between 115°F and 140°F.
Most infrared saunas are designed to be energy-efficient, reducing electricity usage and operating costs. The monthly cost of operating a sauna depends on factors like frequency of use, sauna size, and electricity cost. Generally, running a sauna costs about the same as running a washer/dryer.
Sauna use is generally considered safe, but it’s important to stay hydrated and listen to your body. If you have any medical conditions, it’s best to consult a doctor before using a sauna.
Saunas typically include safety features like ventilation, temperature limits, and timers. When using a sauna, it’s important to stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, monitor your body, and consult with a doctor if you have any medical concerns.
Children can use saunas from any age, but it’s recommended they be at least 6 years old and monitored. Seniors should limit their time and consult a doctor before use. Both groups should have someone with them in the sauna.
All of our saunas are made with high-quality materials that are eco-friendly, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic.
When selecting a sauna, consider the capacity, indoor or outdoor installation, heating system, construction, and additional features like lighting and music.
For your infrared sauna, a solid and non-slip flooring material is recommended. Dry and level flooring, including carpet, is suitable for indoor installations. For outdoor installations, use concrete, ceramic, vinyl, laminate, tile, or other solid flooring.

Because items like our saunas, bathtubs, and vanities are large, high-value items, we ship them securely on pallets via specialized LTL freight carriers. Standard freight shipping (including curbside delivery) is completely free for all orders over $1,000. Shipping costs for orders under $1,000 are automatically calculated at checkout.
As soon as your order is placed, our fulfillment team securely packages your heavy items onto a pallet for warehouse pickup within 1 to 3 days. Transit to your local freight terminal usually takes up to day 8, with final delivery to your home typically occurring between days 5 and 10.
No surprise drop-offs. Freight deliveries require your presence. Once your shipment reaches the local freight terminal nearest to your home, the carrier will call you directly to schedule a mandatory delivery date and time window. Your large items will not be delivered until this appointment is confirmed.
On the scheduled day, the driver will use a liftgate to safely lower your items off the truck. Standard freight includes curbside delivery only. The shipment will be placed on your driveway or property line as safely as possible. Please note: Drivers are not authorized to unpack, assemble, or move heavy items into your home, bathroom, or backyard.
Our quality assurance team ensures your products leave our warehouse in perfect condition, but it is critical that you visually inspect the boxes, shrink wrap, and pallets before signing the delivery receipt. If you see any visible signs of damage, you must write "DAMAGED" clearly on the receipt, take clear photos, and email them to hello@goforbath.com immediately so our Customer Experience team can step in and handle the claim and resolution for you.
